Half Ilonggo half Cebuano, but was born in Iloilo Philippines. Sofie started her modeling career when she won the first ever "Girl Next Door" competition of FHM Philippines. As part of the prize, she got herself a contract under VIVA Inc.She was featured many times in FHM magazine in the year 2005 before she became the November 2005 cover girl. In 2006 she was included in FHM 100 sexiest Women in the country and made it to the top50 ranking 45th.

She guested in TV shows like "The Men's Room" of studio23 and the defunct comedy show "Quizon Ave". She was in the video "Skin City" of VIVA with other Viva hotbabes. In 2007, she became the resident Blogger of www.fhm.com.ph and for the second time around was once again included in FHM 100 sexiest women of the country ranking 88th. Recently, she did a photoshoot with FHM Singapore and will be featuread as The as one of Girls in the Special edition issue of "Girls Next Door" in Singapore.
